With the new school year quickly approaching all I can think about is trying to get as organized as possible to make sure I have every tool I need to be absolutely successful. One of the many things I'm trying to do right now is getting my room organized so that I can easily grab outfits, projects, and books from easy to find places. I always feel at my best when I know my home is as organized as my calendar. It makes everything run as smoothly as possible. Then there is no hair pulling trying to find the paper that's due in 45 minutes or the other Doc Marten.
I think every student should also lay out goals for themselves for the new school year. Not goals like "I want straight A's." or "I want to get an A on my Midterm." Though those are amazing goals and we should all be trying for those, but I'm talking about more attainable goals. Ones that you have total jurisdiction over. Here are a couple of mine:
1. Make it to every class on time. With the only exception of weather.
I am famous for being late everywhere. Literally. EVERYWHERE. The running joke in high school was that I'd probably be late to my own funeral. Also I live in Idaho and anyone who has been here or lives here knows that the weather is practically bipolar.
2. Say "No". As simple as that.
No. In the past I was always known for taking on way too many tasks that end up interfering with my academics, but I refuse to do that to myself this year. Though am I the President of a club on campus I feel that those duties can be easily time managed, and that any other extra task can be given to any other willing member of the club. I will say that I am a slight perfectionist when it comes down to it and I like to oversee EVERYTHING.
I believe the beginning of a new school year no matter what age is the beginning of a brand new chapter, not book, but a chapter in the life of You. A completely blank slate to which you can fill the pages with whatever you want to. It's the chance to become a better You; to get one step closer to who you are. It's your life, darling, live it how you choose.

Fall Trend: The Graphic Beanie
I'm actually kind of excited about this season's graphic beanie trend. They can be dolled up or grudged out. But they're still wicked awesome no matter what. They're warm and fashionable. Cute & Functional.
These are a must have if you're headed to college this fall/winter.
Will you be buying any graphic beanies this season? If you do, send in pictures so we can post them!

Day & Night
Who doesn't love a versatile piece? Especially a shirt that you can wear around town, then out on the town the same night. I love this one because it has the bow which adds a bit of sweetness to whatever it's paired with.
Would you wear either of these?

Long Class Days
I recently fell in love with this longer-in-length tank top from a shop called Prestige. When I saw it I immediately thought about pairing it with leggings, crazy socks, and some combat boots. It just seemed like a great comfortable outfit to wear to those lengthly class days.
What do you guys think?

Labels
I recently found this drawing on Tumblr. Unfortunately I couldn't find the original artist, but I absolutely love how they depicted these women. Each having their own unique style that goes with the label. I also adore that none of the outfits are revealing too much or too little. It's the perfect modesty.
I feel many woman need to know that you can get more respect from your peers by wearing clothing that doesn't show off the family jewels or their booty. There seems to be this craving to have attention, but generally it's the wrong kind of attention they are getting.
I adore this drawing not only because of the diversity between the women drawn, but the way they are dressed and labeled. They aren't labeled "emo" or "jock", but by the things they are participating in or the places they are going.
